Christmas Community Chorus

THE CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY CHORUS for MEN and WOMEN!

For the past 13 years the First Capital Chorus has raised money for disadvantaged families in the Langley area at Christmas time. We have raised well over $100,000 for the Christmas Bureau by sponsoring a Christmas variety concert. Several local groups, including the Langley Ukulele ensemble, have donated their talents to making the show a success.

But the one highlight has always been the Christmas Community Chorus. The First Capital Chorus invites men and women to join for SIX Thursday rehearsals to learn great Christmas music to perform on the show.

There is no charge or other commitment and the music and learning tracks are supplied free to the guests. When this started in the year 2000 it was only for men and we had over 100 men on stage! Last year we had almost 70 men and women making a great sound!
